Your Gift Will Help in Many Ways

Adolescent Wellness is supported by gifts from you and others in the general public who choose to act to help prevent depression and to simplify referral for earlier treatment when needed.

Depression either directly or indirectly impacts many families, not just in the United States, but across the world. Your gift to Adolescent Wellness will allow us to continue the mission of identifying, facilitating and promoting the rapid implementation of the science of depression prevention. To date, our work has accelerated the development of school-based programming, community outreach resources, and parent education. For example, Adolescent Wellness facilitated community outreach programming to address key adults in adolescents lives, including parents, school staff, youth clergy, and scout leaders.  The outreach program includes workshops focusing on identification of adolescent depression, resources for helping at-risk youth, and building resilience among teens. A teen mentoring model was also facilitated, where teens are encouraged to take an active role in providing suggestions for successful prevention programming and facilitating communication between peers and adults.

Please help support Adolescent Wellness.  Make a gift today or volunteer your time.
